Mavalli Tiffin Room

More popularly known at the MTR, this is the place to taste traditional south Indian cuisine. You must try the Masala Dosa, which involves spiced potato and vegetables wrapped in a pancake made out of ground rice and lentils. It is served with coconut chutney and sambhar (lentil gravy).

They also serve a 'Thali' which consists of the traditional meal served at any home. It will give you an assortment of vegetables, salads, breads, and sweets. The serving of a Thali is fun as you can literally keep calling for extras for the vegetables and lentils. The food is very affordable and the variety is phenomenal. Taika – The Spa Lounge

If you take your health food seriously, head here for an Ayurvedic-inspired meal. The meals here are well balanced in the tamsvic and rajasvic flavors as defined in old texts of the Ayurveda. You can have drinks and spa food here at a somewhat luxurious cost. Portions may leave you wanting more. Don’t go if you want to eat a heavy meal. Nice for an off beat experience.
